Instantly became my favorite shoes! No breaking in at all and instant comfort. They were the only shoes I brought to Honolulu and wore them for 5 days straight, and my feet were happy! I love the fact that they are closed toed shoes but I do not feel hot or sweaty in them. I did however add an Aldo terry cloth insole to them, so my feet would not stick to the footbed, and adds a little more cushioning. The best part is the outsole, which is fabulous for walking on any type of terrain, as it has a lot of grip, and is super sturdy. If you're traveling in warmer climate and can only bring one pair of shoes, these are it! The reason I'm only giving them 4* instead of 5 is because the memory foam footbed compacts down pretty quickly and does not rebound after the first 2 wearings, making the front much more roomy (maybe even too roomy if you have a thinner foot). I wish they would mix some other types of cushioning in addition to the memory foam layer for a more sustained cushion.Update: May 6, 2017. The memory foam has really packed down to almost non existence, and for the first time I was very uncomfortable walking in them, as the front is so loose and the heel has almost no padding. So I've added a heel pad and it is feeling a lot more comfy now. Will be adding a pad for the front too and see if it will help. There is no excuse for using inferior foam in such an expensive shoe, as the cushioning in all my other shoes are still going strong after way more wearings. This shoe has a pad on the back of the heel inside the shoe and it somewhat pushes your foot forward at first. I wasn't sure also if this little pad or cushion was going to rub on my heel on give me a problem. But I wore the shoes for just a couple of hours - and no problem. Then I increased the wearing time over the next few days, each time a little more. I found that the shoe fit better after about a week of wearing them, than they did when I first put them on. And that little pad softened up and now cradles my heel without rubbing. Now I can wear them all day. They just needed that breaking in period. I think they are really cute too - they work with jeans, shorts, casual skirts and pants. I've already received compliments on them. I'm glad I kept them.I love these shoes. They are unique and I get so many compliments about how adorable they are. They are a really great alternative for those of us who can't wear sandals due to feet issues. They are good looking and comfortable - which is a rarity for summer shoes. Besides the beautiful design, the sole provides great support and the material and construction is high quality. I've used them all summer and the strap is intact. It doesn't dig or rub uncomfortably in your feet because they are fully and carefully lined. To prevent the shoe from rubbing on the top on your feet, apply some moisturizing cream in your feet and inside the shoe to make it softer for the first weeks. The only problem with these shoes is that the smallest size is a 6. I need to put special inserts anyway but it's a pity they don't make 5 1/2 size. This is a major improvement area for Jambu.I ordered the shoes a half size larger based on reviews, but they are actually a bit long in the toe box. The rest of the shoe fits fine and the insole is comfortable. These shoes are well made. I wore them almost daily during a three week trip to Europe and still where them with comfort. I think they are even suitable to where with socks and slacks this fall. I said they didn't have good arch support, but then my feet are quite flat and too much arch support tends to be uncomfortable. I usually where an 8.5 M so next time I will order a Jambu in my usual size. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.Finally got my first pair of Jambu's :) Apparently they are my favorite too! I love the style, look, comfort ( which is the very reason I got them). I also have no problem with them being narrow as many customers are complaining off. Probably I've a narrow feet, which finds difficult to find a good fit, finally found here in Jambu. My only problem with this pair was that it was still very roomy in the straps in my heels. I kind of know it's not due to ordering wrong size, cuz 9.5 is my size and I did try a 9, which was quite snug. So 9.5 feels comfortable but it is roomy and gives me feeling that it is going to slip under my heels. I am sad that these are going back. I wish I had more accommodating feet, my shoe rack will definitely miss'em :(I ordered these shoes along with another pair in a different style from Jambu, planning to return one or the other. Nope. I kept them both. I ordered this style in wide width. I need a roomy toe box. I probably could have gotten away with the regular width but I do love how roomy and non-confining they are. I wore these shoes all last spring and summer and into fall and am looking forward to wearing them again this season. I absolutely love them. They're super comfy even when I'm on my feet all day long. I wore them on vacation, through amusement parks, museums, shopping, and sight-seeing. They're cute and feminine while being comfortable, sturdy and durable. Definitely a worthy investment.These shoes are cute and also quite comfy. I took off a star because, after only a week of wear, the inner sole seems to be flattening out and losing its "spring". I did wear them on a trip to California and found them to be great travel shoes--they went from a baseball game, to a botanical garden, out to dinner, and everywhere in between and never got scuffed or dirty-looking and my feet never hurt. I would like to have this style a darker color for Fall--will have to see how that inner sole holds up.
