I read the reviews and bought 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. The shoes fit perfect. They are very comfortable to wear. I have planter fasciitis, and they give the support I need. I bought another pair of $160 running shoes, and I really prefer to wear these shoes. I was a little worried about the color, but they just seem to work with whatever I wear.I would definitely recommend them and would love to buy another pair in the future, if they are still available. Seems like I find shoes I like and then the styles change. The shoe is very stiff. Also the toe box is very shallow, so the top of my toe nail hits the top of the shoe. And because it is not soft it hurts. Wanted to keep because everything else about the shoe was perfect. I already went up 1/2 a size so going bigger would make the shoe to long and flap when I walk. These shoes are just lovely. Great insoles, beautiful, leather and workmanship, appealing look. Unfortunately, they were too short, which I have not experienced with Taos shoes. Sadly, I had to return them.I am a huge fan of Taos shoes, and this shoe is attractive with a particularly great insole that includes significant metatarsal support. But overall it is too short - as mentioned by others. The toe box seems possibly narrow and short, while the rest of shoe seems to fit appropriately. I am exchanging the shoe for the next size up and will see.Makes my heals sore.I wear a 7.5 but read reviews that suggested sizing up a 1/2 size, so I did and they fit perfectly. These are incredibly comfortable shoes. I want to wear them everywhere. I have wide feet with high arches, and my feet never hurt anywhere in these.Good, sturdy shoe! These shoes are very good for me. They are very comfortable and I can walk in them all day... no pain, no discomfort of any kind. The arch support is great and just what I need.
