No noted arch support. These shoes look like boots under long pants. First reaction taking them out of the box was that these cannot be real leather. Disappointed that the Mesphisto name was not on the shoes. Had to really think about whether or not I was going to keep them but after trying them out of a couple of days I am fairly pleased with both the comfort and the look.I bought a size 10 but the shoes fits as a size 9. I wanted to exchange the 10 for 11 but the color (black) was not available. Maybe a great shoe, but I cannot say since the sizing is not correct and inventory is lacking. Feel bad giving a 1 but Amazon demands a rating and I was 0 for 2 (size and color).comfortable, attractive
